It is hard to believe that the sculptures you see below are actually made entirely of wood and so painted to be soft materials.

The artist Tom Eckert made these wonderful sculptures by following the normal ways of carving, building, laminating and so painting wood. Tom says his favorite woods are linden, linden, and rock because he will sculpt them and paint them easily and smoothly.

Tom conjointly reveals his favorite paint, which provides his real work – the colors of water varnish that are easily coated with each spray gun and brushes.

Eckert received his M.F.A certificate from the University of Arizona wherever he’s currently learning and has exhibited his outstanding works in additional than 150 national and international exhibitions since 1966.
